Last week I released part 1, and while it wasn’t about writing tips, I still felt it was helpful. The whole video for stretches ended up being over half an hour long. I know you guys like me, but I feel like that would just be a little too much Noah in one video. Hence part 2 of stretches for writers. I’m proud to say, though, I recently put out a different writing video to break up all the stretching ones. You can expect a couple more stretching videos after this one, though.
In part 2 of stretches for writers, I cover mostly the neck and shoulders. The neck is an important part to cover in most stretches because a lot of headaches and tension in the skull can result from a stiff neck. And what’s inside our skull? That’s right: our brains. Writers definitely need those to create all our amazing stories. Additionally, while typing, you might notice your shoulders slumping or rounding forward, which can eventually lead to a more hunched appearance, and can do nasty things like make you look less vital and energetic, or cut off some circulation. So get to stretching!
Of course, this is only part 2 of stretches for writers. Which means there will be a part 3. And maybe even a part 4! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
I hope you’re enjoying the various directions I’m taking. I’m trying lots of new things, and I want to know what you think of it!
