This Monday, I released the final Writers Corner stretching video I’ve recorded. This marks part 3 of stretches for writers, and it’s the last part! I hope you all have enjoyed the stretches I’ve been talking about, and the rambling, informal style I’ve been trying out. It’s been really helpful for me to just talk about what’s on my mind and what I’m going through in writing. So I hope you all enjoy part 3 of stretches for writers!
So what’s happening in part 3 of stretches for writers? In this final segment, I finish up shoulder stretches and move onto the legs. You don’t oftentimes worry about the legs and hips when you’re writing. Most people think it’s all about the spine, neck, and shoulders when you’re sitting down. But you have to remember what you’re sitting on. Your hips, glutes, and legs take the brunt of it as you sit all day. It’s only fair to show them some respect.
Stretching out your legs can be difficult when you’re sitting down. If you have the room to stand and do stretches, then I recommend looking up some beginner yoga stretches. Just follow the videos and relax your legs. However, this video shows you some of the stretches you can do while sitting down. Whether that means you’re at your desk, in bed, or trapped by your evil robot overlords. It works for all occasions!
Now that I’ve finished with the stretching videos, I’ll be moving onto more regular videos. The ones you’ve come to expect from me. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a surprise or two in store. But that’s a story for another day.
I hope you’re enjoying the various directions I’m taking. I’m trying lots of new things, and I want to know what you think of it!
